Founder of SELF.uk and the ultimate self-care queen, Suzie is our ‘boss lady’. A few words to describe the Queen of SELF would be dynamic, driven, kind, fun, generous, tasteful, inspirational, creative and smart. Plus, beyond all else she cares about everything and everyone in her life. Suzie is quite simply cherished by all those blessed to know her. You can find Suzie in our Woodhall Spa, Lincoln, and Harrogate boutiques.

JO
Boutique Assistant & Stylist. Jo is a beautiful, kind and gentle lady and was the very first person to join the SELF family when we opened our Woodhall Spa boutique back in August 2021. She’s an incredibly special person and friend. Opening Woodhall with Jo will be a day that we will never forget. She always has a smile on her face and we all love her.

Boutique Assistant & Stylist. Odette was the second person to join the Woodhall Spa dream team and very quickly she became a truly valued member of the team and a friend. She’s so supportive, caring, thoughtful and always goes the extra mile to help customers and her fellow team members. She’s also partial to a star bar!

"When one door closes in your life another one opens and that door was SELF, and stepping over that threshold was like a warm hug. It has truly been the best experience, being part of the SELF team/family is so fulfilling. When you get to a certain age in life you become rather anonymous, this job has given me my identity back, I have also made solid friendships with the fabulous team which is priceless. So I just want to say thank you Suzie B."

MARIE
Boutique Assistant & Stylist. Marie, our pocket rocket, can be be found at times flying around all of our boutiques! She is incredibly knowledgable, kind, witty, fiercely loyal, thoughtful, hilariously funny and quite honestly SELF wouldn’t feel or be the same without her. Marie will always strive to go above and beyond for her fellow team members and customers and that’s why we love her so much.

"SELF to me is my creative happy place. It gives me a sense of self purpose alongside being a single mum. Along with my son, SELF is part of my daily enrichment. It tops up my creative bottle and much more. I’m a better person when I go home for enjoying my days with other team members too. Sharing is caring and caring is sharing."

Boutique Assistant & Stylist. Debbie is the epitome of SELF and works in our Bailgate boutique. She has a calming influence on us all, she’s kind, thoughtful, has a great sense of humour and a laugh that is quite honestly just infectious.

Ali is so thoughtful, a great friend and someone that cares so much about others. She is always so genuinely interested in others. She’s a beautiful and special lady inside and out.

Sophie is our smiley, cat loving, Queen of the Harrogate rails. She loves clothes and fashion, and adores putting outfits together. Sophie is bright, vibrant, friendly, personable, has a great sense of humour, and is a real team player. Sophie is our true retail Queen, as she’s worked in retail all of her life, and brings a wealth of experience to our Harrogate boutique. She’s also our ultimate Queen of Clean!

Vicky is a true class act and loves all things interiors and fashion. Plus, she also makes a mean mince pie! Vicky is likeable, friendly, warm, and a really safe pair of hands to have on board here at SELF. She's fantastic with our customers and builds a wonderful rapport with them with complete ease. Vicky is liked by everyone that is honoured to meet her, and she is just a genuine lovely lady who has a heart of gold.

I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I’ve listened, I’ve built new friendships, I love chatting and listening to customers stories, some happy and some really sad, but above all, I’m happy and I love it! Suzie has created such a beautiful space that I’m proud to call work."

"To me SELF is therapy, it’s helped with my grief, it’s an escape from the stresses of keeping a family and house shipshape! It has restored my faith in employment and above all it gives me a feeling of belonging, and what a great company and team of ladies to belong to. All wanting to offer the same excellent service as they respect and love their boss and love their customers too. I remember the feelings evoked in me the first time I set foot in the Harrogate store and want all customers old and new to get the same feels each and every time they visit SELF."

Anabel has the kindest soul, and she truly is beautiful inside and out. She’s a thoughtful, efficient, creative, and really lovely lady. We simply adore her calming presence. Oh, and Anabel is fantastic at making coffees with a little coffee art for extra measure!

Personal Assistant & Content Creator. Charlotte has been working with SELF in different guises since day one back in September 2019 when we launched our first ever gift box. Charlotte is full of life, creative, kind, a perfectionist and quite simply on it! She is a joy to work with, we all love her and she brings so much energy to our SELF family.

"SELF has been a part of my life since day one, back when we were solely online selling beautifully curated gift boxes to our loyal customers. As soon as I met Suzie in person, everything just instantly clicked and I knew this was where I was meant to be. I feel so lucky and honoured to be a part of such a wonderful team and to truly say that I love my job, and that’s all down to Suzie - who is quite literally Mrs SELF herself!
